Black Dam 2026

$2,400.00

Acrylic on raw cotton

122 × 103 cm

Painted as the final piece of my two year artist residency at Dunmoochin. The artwork is an impression of the Black Dam, a small but significant body of water, thick with tannins that give colour to its name. A protected puddle surrounded by sclerophyll bush, tucked off Barreenong rd, the dusty corridor of eucalyptus from which between, vast valley views put all manner of things back into perspective.

Framed in Tasmanian Oak, (Frame of Mind)
